Guests arriving or departing from Terminal B at the Orlando International Airport will now find even more Disney magic with the opening of the new Magic of Disney shop. This reimagined merchandise destination is the perfect spot for kicking off a Disney vacation, or for picking up those last-minute souvenirs for friends and family back home.
“The redesigned shop is the perfect backdrop for showcasing authentic merchandise from Disney Parks,” explained Alysia Kelley, Vice President of Visual Merchandising and Location Strategy.
Designed with an open and contemporary layout, Guests visiting the location will discover the best of what Walt Disney World has to offer. New design elements include spectacular imagery and oversized digital displays that will bring to life the beauty, uniqueness and magic from all four theme parks.
A curated collection of beloved merchandise awaits travelers, from apparel and accessories to home goods and iconic Mouse-eared headwear. The location will also carry “must-have” items that are currently available exclusively in merchandise locations at Walt Disney World Resort, such as the Potion Purple collection or products from special events like the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
The newly transformed Magic of Disney store joins the existing Disney’s EarPort store, which is located in Terminal A. These retail locations, combined with Disney’s Magical Express and the popular Minnie Van Service, which provide direct transportation to our Disney Resort hotels, are great examples of our strong, continued partnership with Orlando International Airport. For years, we’ve worked together to create an unparalleled arrival and departure experience for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and the Orlando area.
Please stop by Terminal B on your next visit to or from Orlando International Airport. Disney Cast are eager to share favorite vacation tips while helping you select wonderful merchandise that will remind you of your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Steven, time to re-check your MCO map. The main concourse is shaped like a hot dog; the “A” and “B” terminals are the buns, and the shopping & dining are the sausage. In this case, the two Disney stores are at either end of the sausage, by the security checkpoints.
As such, you should say that one store is near the security checkpoint for gates 1-59, and the other is near the security checkpoint for gates 70-129. Both security checkpoints serve both terminals (A and B).
Is it in the same location, or did it move?
Oh fantastic! This store really delivers part of the story-telling experience as part of our vacation. It fills me with all sorts of mixed emotions; when we arrive and I see the store, I can’t help but feel an abundance of excitement knowing that I have arrived and when our vacation comes to a happily ever after, it really kickstarts those Disney blues. Lovely to see it’s had a bit of a make-over and look forward to revisiting on my next visit!
