Celebrate ‘The Lion King’ This Summer at Disney California Adventure Park

This summer, Disney California Adventure park will come alive with a vibrant celebration inspired by Disney’s “The Lion King.”

Throughout the day, a traveling troupe of storytellers will arrive to celebrate “The Lion King” in story, song and dance, inviting everyone to join in. The fun continues with music, colorful craft activities and more, honoring the spirit of Africa.

Our festive celebration of “The Lion King” will be presented for a limited time this summer at Disney California Adventure park. Stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for more details in the weeks ahead.

  • @Jorge, all I want to know is when the lion king celebration starts and how long during the summer it’s going to be lasting for

  • July 20th is pretty late for the celebration to begin, it looks to me as if the celebration will begin around Late May- Early June

  • Is the lion king celebration going to start on July 20th? I’m asking because I’m going to visit my grandmother on that week for her family reunion and I also wanted to spend that week with my girlfriend and her dad for this celebration at the same week.

  • Sounds like a great idea but I’m left wondering why this isn’t being performed in Adventureland at Disneyland Park. I’m having a hard time placing it anywhere inside Disney California Adventure – maybe Paradise Gardens ??

  • yeah but where is World of Color??!! it has only been almost a year now!! so sad that it is not a priority for Disney.
