Mobile food and beverage ordering at Disney Parks is a snap, allowing guests to plan ahead, save time by not waiting in line, and make the most out of their visit to the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
And now, our team is excited to roll out a new, enhanced look that makes the mobile ordering experience easier than ever. This update—available now in the Disneyland App for Disneyland Resort and coming soon to the My Disney Experience App for Walt Disney World Resort — features an easier navigation and improved design with fun, colorful icons and even more photos of the menu items. In addition, guests with certain allergies or dietary restrictions can better discover the options that may meet their needs at participating locations.
With more than 20 participating quick-service restaurants at each destination, you can easily place meal and snack orders from wherever you happen to be in the park. Once you arrive at the restaurant and tap “I’m here,” your order will be ready for pick up at a designated window within minutes – without ever waiting in line to order and pay!
The mobile order feature is just one of the many ways we continue to enhance the guest experience, including Disney MaxPass at Disneyland Resort, digital room keys at Walt Disney World Resort and so much more.
Have you tried ordering your meal via the Disneyland or My Disney Experience Apps?
Mobile ordering is subject to restrictions and change without notice.
Message, data and roaming rates may apply to the use of the Disneyland app. Availability subject to handset limitations and features may vary by handset or service provider. Coverage and app stores not available everywhere. If you’re under 18, get your parents’ permission first.
This is possibly the best addition to the Disney apps that’s been created. It’s so much easier to get snacks and food in the parks!
does it work with Dining Plan ?
Not sure if this helps but if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, I’ve added gift cards to my room and use the MDE app with my MagicBand and ordered meals that way. Not a direct link and won’t work for non-resort guests but it may help some.
We have used mobile ordering a number of times since it bagan working with the DDP a year ago this week. I cannot count the amount of time and frustration from waiting in long lines that it has saved us!!
No gift cards and no room charge makes this service unusable to a ton of people. Don’t worry about the look – add the functionality for those who prefer to pay with gift cards.
What @Robert said, plus I wish I could use my Disney Rewards Redemption Card with your Mobile Order feature.
I wish you could tie Gift Cards to your account so you could purchase food with gift card and mobile order.
