May 31, opening day for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort, is just around the corner and we’re beyond excited! In the second installment of the “Know Before You Go” series on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Ambassador Justin Rapp shares how using the Disneyland and Play Disney Parks apps will make your visit even better—from using mobile ordering for food and beverages to enjoying interactive activities on your mobile device!

Remember, no-cost reservations are required to visit from May 31 to June 23, 2019 (in addition to valid theme park admission). For guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels, you will receive a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation as a part of your room reservation. Visit Disneyland.com or call (714) 520-5050 or contact your travel provider to make your hotel reservation now. Reservations will be available for non-hotel guests starting May 2. Be sure to set up your Disney account ahead of time, and watch the Disney Parks Blog at 8 a.m. on May 2 for more information. Reservations will no longer be required after June 23.

Now, watch for more…and know before you go!

  • The Play Disney Parks app stopped working on my Android. An attempt to reinstall was unsuccessful, giving a message that my device is not compatible. I had no trouble installing it on my son’s iPhone. Is the Android version not ready yet?

  • I’m already buying an arsenal of external batteries so I can keep myself…and my droid…charged for this chadventure.

  • Does anybody know if all the reservations for Star Wars area have already been filled up. I can’t find any information on the website. We are planning to be in the area from June 9th to 14th and can visit any day between those dates.

  • @Razi. Reservation open May 2nd. 8am, information becomes available. 10am reservation begin. I’m not a CM. Go to the Disneyland web site. You will find all the information. You may still be able to stay and a Disney hotel and get a reservation that way. I did!

  • I made reservations for my self and family (Me plus 5 Guests) Shortly after making the reservations, I found two of the five guests can’t attend!!
Does this mean me and my three other guests will be turned down at Check-in because my entire party isn’t present?

  • I made a reservation for Star wars land but while I was making my reservation it didnt show how many guest I’m taking. Was there any problem in the system or can I still get my family in (5 in total)
