As we’ve previously shared, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening on May 31 at the Disneyland Resort in Southern California and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. If you are planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort between May 31 and June 23, 2019, a reservation and theme park admission are required. There is no additional cost to make a reservation, but reservations are subject to availability.
Specific details on how to make reservations will be available on the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com on May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. You must have a Disney Account to register for a reservation so be sure to create one before registration opens at 10 a.m. PT.

I plan on checking into the Hotel on 6/8, but would like to visit galaxies / edge the parks on day of check out, 6/9. How do I gaurentee the reservation will be on 6/9, the day I plan on visiting the park?

My reservation for Galaxy’s Edge is from 8 am -12 pm. Are they opening the park early for those who have reservations on that ride?

Hey Disney! I booked my hotel reservation on 16 March to stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel from the 21-23 June, but no one from Disney has contacted me about making a reservation at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Every time I email you I get told that information for reservations is forthcoming (even today), but I see that many other people have received emails confirming their reservation time. What gives? I’m coming all the way from Australia for this- I don’t want to miss out!
Diane, I’m 99% sure that good neighbor hotels are not eligible for reservations, even if they are booked through the Disneyland website.
Will I be guaranteed a spot if I book my Disneyland Hotel reservation through a third party?

So I am able to answer my own question: I DID receive my confirmation for our Galaxy’s Edge reservation on April 22nd…although we are there for the week, they only allow ONE DAY for your Galaxy’s Edge reservation, and not every day of our stay…and that’s still awesome! It’s a 4 hour timeframe…allowing us to enter at 8am and must depart by 12pm. Now, Im hoping they will allow us to book a general public reservation on May 2nd online for the other day(s) we will be there, in addition to the hotel priority res. I hope so!!!
Does anyone know if you can receive a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation for EACH DAY of your hotel reservation? Or are they going to randomly select a day for you? I mean, how does the systems know which day you actually PLAN to go to the parks, and have tickets for? Also, I booked my reservation back on April 17th and haven’t received an email yet…how long should it take? Thank you in advance…

Well, here’s an update for anyone who had the same question as the one I posted a couple of days ago. I booked a room at the Grand Californian for check in on May 30th and check out May 31st. And I DID receive a reservation for entry into Galaxy’s Edge for May 31st.
Does each member in my family need to open a Disney account? Or can I get a reservation for my wife and two kids (who also have annual passes)?
Can anyone confirm that they got a reservation if they are checking in to either of the 3 Disneyland hotels on the 30th and checking out on the 31st. I have a similar question about multiple reservations; I have an account and the account has 2 passes linked to it so I’m wondering if I can make reservations for both passes or do I need to create a second account for one of them and then attempt to make separate reservations for each?
If my mom and I are going in early June will we both have to log into our accounts to get a reservation or can we get 2 reservations on one account? We already bought our tickets and we made our ADRs we’re not trying to exploit the system, if we don’t get the reservations it won’t ruin our trip. It would be nice to be able to modify our ADRs in case we do get a reservation.

Yay! Let the games begin! It’s hard to believe that this land is so close to opening. When Galaxy’s Edge was first announced, although we were given an ETA on when the land would be ready, it still seemed sooooo far away. But time flies quickly, and here we are, ready to go! Bring on the galactic fun!!
