runDisney Virtual Series Celebrates 80 Years of Marvel!

Runners, assemble! The runDisney Virtual Series returns this summer with an action-packed series of 5Ks celebrating Marvel’s 80th Anniversary! Gather your friends and channel your inner superhero while getting a taste of runDisney from your own backyard. Take a look at this year’s epic lineup of medals:

Starting off the power-packed series, go higher, further, faster with Captain Marvel, serving as the theme of the June 5K. Go full metal during the July 5K featuring Iron Man for the theme. End the summer with the August 5K and earn a medal fit for a King, highlighting Black Panther.

Those runners wanting to take on a heroic feat can complete all three events for the 2019 runDisney Virtual Challenge. Challenge participants will earn an additional finisher medal celebrating 80 years of Marvel along with a commemorative coin. In addition to a medal, all participants in the 2019 runDisney Virtual Series can download a digital race bib and a finisher certificate.

New to the runDisney Virtual events? Have your own powerful run through a course of your choosing: your neighborhood, local trails or even by treadmill. From runDisney enthusiasts, to beginning runners looking to stretch their skills, these virtual races are a great way to introduce your friends and family to running and jumpstart training for upcoming runDisney race events.
