I’ve got a jam-packed Best Bites for you guys this month with new dishes and more at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts! If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal on your next visit to a Disney park, then you’ve come to the right place. Each of these new offerings are delectably delicious and I’ve got all the juicy details for you right here, so let’s get started!

A Very Merry Unbirthday Tea Party at the Disneyland Hotel

The first thing on the menu is A Very Merry Unbirthday Tea Party coming to the Disneyland Hotel on May 31. Gather ‘round to celebrate YOU with themed treats, sweets, and a positively MAD tea party! Guests of all ages are invited to indulge in a midday tea with an array of classics that pay homage to Disney’s animated classic, “Alice in Wonderland.” Feast on fresh salad, assorted scones, sandwiches, desserts, and hand-selected teas inspired by some of the film’s most popular characters. This exciting afternoon tea experience will take place at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel on select days throughout the summer and until the start of fall! For more information and to book reservations, visit the Disneyland Resort website.

Spaghetti Burger from the Sand Bar Lounge at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel

Right next door to the Disneyland Hotel over at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, the Sand Bar Lounge has a few new items coming to the menu this summer, including a spaghetti burger and dessert nachos! Let’s start with that yummy spaghetti burger, shall we? This unique dish features a beef patty with mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomato spread, and arugula sandwiched between two buns made out of fried spaghetti.  You’ll find it on the Big Bites section of the menu along with an Arugula Salad topped with a soft-poached egg and a Double B-L-T-A with crispy bacon, braised pork belly, butter lettuce, balsamic tomatoes, and creamy avocado on focaccia.

The menu will also feature artisan pizzas as well as a variety of smaller dishes including a selection of tacos (including duck confit with caramelized onions, pork with pineapple salsa, or grilled shrimp with Sriracha aïoli), seafood ceviche, chicken drum sticks, chili-lime yuca fries, and even sliders. The PBJ Burger Slider is sure to be a favorite with a plant-based patty, peanut butter, and blackberry jam served on a toasted potato bun – how fun is that?

Confetti Dessert Nachos from the Sand Bar Lounge at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel

And for dessert? You’ll definitely want to chow down on the Confetti Dessert Nachos! This sweet crunchy dish comes topped with vanilla whipped cream, diced strawberries, chocolate drizzle, and sprinkles. Or if you’re looking to get your churro-fix, you can order a Churro Sundae with vanilla ice cream, wild berries, and whipped cream.

New Sandwiches at Smokejumpers Grill at Disney California Adventure Park

Moving on to Disney California Adventure Park, Smokejumpers Grill has added a couple new entrées to their menu. The first is a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with mouth-watering herb-marinated chicken breast, jack cheese, and sundried tomato sauce. You can also try the new Veggie Burger, featuring a grilled plant-based patty on a toasted bun.

New Mediterranean Dishes from Paradise Garden Grill at Disney California Adventure Park

On the other side of the park, Paradise Garden Grill is serving up a new Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring a savory selection of skewers and dishes. Skewers come with your choice of grilled steak, vegetable and tofu, spicy beef and lamb meatball, and lemon oregano chicken served with rice pilaf, cucumber salad, and pita bread. • Thanks for all the great food info! Is there any way you could post these monthly food highlight posts closer to the beginning of the month? It would be even more helpful for those of us who aren’t local to the parks and have to plan our trips in advance.

  • Going to have to try the Spaghetti Burger when we stay at Paradise Pier for the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opening!!!
