At the Disneyland Resort, we know guests are continuously looking for easier ways to plan their visits with options that fit their individual needs. In addition to offering a variety of ticket options and special events, we are excited to introduce the Disney Flex Passport, a new Annual Passport.

As our theme parks have increased in popularity, more and more guests wish to experience the resort’s uniquely Disney magic. That’s why we are introducing a reservation system through Disney Flex Passport. We are always considering new ways to continue to deliver a world-class guest experience, and introducing a reservation system will allow us to continue that legacy while better distributing attendance throughout the year.

Starting May 21, guests can purchase the Disney Flex Passport; which offers multiple ways to visit Disneyland Resort—combining value and flexibility. Flex Passholders will have the opportunity to access one or both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park on select good-to-go days, with limited blockout days, plus make reservations on other days for more access.  Plans can be managed through the website and the Disneyland app, where they can access an interactive calendar and book a reservation. Guests can hold two reservation days up to 30 days in advance with the new passport, while also enjoying good-to-go days*.

Providing guests with options that meet their budgets—including a monthly payment plan for California residents**—continues to be a priority for Disneyland Resort. Disney Flex Passport also includes benefits such as dining and merchandise discounts***.

This is an incredibly extraordinary time at Disneyland Resort as we embark on our next phase of significant growth with our largest expansion in the history of Disneyland park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s EdgeϮ. Spanning 14-acres, the epic new land will be the most ambitious, immersive and transformative land we’ve ever created in a Disney park. Guests also will be able to enjoy a new Super Hero-themed land in Disney California Adventure park in 2020, while Disneyland Resort guests will continue to enjoy favorite attractions, shows, characters, favorite holiday traditions and special festivals throughout the year, with so much more coming soon!

  • Does anyone answer these questions? If so, where are the answers?

  • Hello,

Are we able to bring a friend with a discounted price on their ticket with this pass?

    Thank you!

  • Hi! At what time will these go on sale?

  • I also have a question on what constitutes a “reservation.” When it says that you can hold up to 2 reservations in a 30 day period, does that specifically mean 2 days? I live outside of California so when I make a reservation I would want to be able to book out more than 2 days to be able to guarantee entrance into the parks.

  • Also, wanted to check on this detail. My current annual deluxe passport expires in June. I was already planning to let is lapse since I’m not planning to visit again until September (haven’t been to the Parks since last Sept because we had a 2 week Disney World planned for earlier this year). I figured I’d purchase a new annual pass at that time (making it good Sept. 2019 to Sept. 2020). Since I will not have had a pass for almost 3 months, will I be able to purchase this new pass, since the info I’ve seen states we can’t downgrade, or does that mean we just can’t downgrade an active pass?

  • This will be a great option for us since we visit Tuesdays thru Fridays (being that we are now retired and don’t want to deal with the weekend or summer crowds). My question is regarding the “also includes benefits such as dining and merchandise discounts.” I haven’t been able to find info anywhere stating what the discount amount will be. Can you tell us what the discount percent is?

  • I still have a day left to use on my SoCal 3 Day pass. Will I be able to upgrade it to this Flex Pass on the 21st?

  • correction to my post: Parking is included with all Sig. and Sig plus AP. not only the plus.

  • Parking is only includes with the top level Sig plus AP.

  • 1) Is parking included, if not what is the cost to add?
    2) Can we add Max pass too it. What is the cost?
    3) To park hop on a reservation day does that require having 2 reservations?

Thanks in advance for your reply

  • Will you be able to buy a parking pass separately, since it will not come with parking?

  • Parking included or would need to pay extra? I don’t believe I saw it on all the info…?!?

  • There was a both parks option so it doesn’t look like you would need two reservations.

  • How many reservation dates can you have at one time?

  • Good thanks for your interesting from Families keep our kids happy

  • To clarify, to park-hop on a Saturday would you need to make 2 reservations, one for DL and one for DCA?

  • Given the parameters of this pass, would park-hopping on a weekend require usage of 2 reservations, one for each park?

  • This is a great option, what is the options to add max pass?
