Did this on our trip this past Feb. Was awesome. One the coolest things we’ve done at Disney. Hoping to do different tours with future visits.
We went on the Trek one of the first years they had it (2011), and it was WONDERFUL! You get to cross the “bridges”, watch the animals from close up, the food is great. You get a DVD with pictures they take of you and some stock photos of the animals. The “leaders” are so informative and interesting that you are entertained and informed. I would not pay for it every year, but I would definitely do it again.
