This week’s “Good Morning” shot was snapped on one of the lakefront walkways at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

This resort has been a guest-favorite since the Walt Disney World Resort opened in 1971. This resort is home to a relaxing, polynesian-inspired surroundings, the Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show – not to mention Tonga Toast and Dole Whip served inside!

Have you stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort? What was your favorite part?

  • We stayed in a studio villa and loved the size of the hallway and the room! The lobby is amazing. Lava pool is awesome (although it was closed because of the cold weather). It’s too hard to choose. It’s all beautiful!

  • Love the views, the lobby, the pool, the rooms. Have to say the boardwalk around the pool and seven seas lagoon is my favourite.

  • Good morning home see you soon

  • Getting to visit auntie kaui she is a treasure

  • The Polynesian was the very first resort we ever stayed at when we first started visiting Walt Disney World.

The appeal has not diminished, it’s so beautiful there – that lobby has such a comforting feel when we enter it each time.

It really has that original Walt touch there still and I certainly hope that remains.

  • We stayed at the Polynesian for our honeymoon in 1999 and have stayed there 8 out of the ten times we visited Walt Disney World. Looking forward to staying there again. The atmosphere is the best part!
