One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort is seeing the different types of guests that visit our theme parks. Everyone has a story to share, and a recent trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom was no exception.
That’s where we ran into Penelope. As a child in Brazil she grew up watching Disney movies, and it had always been her dream to be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort … and she was finally here! Her favorite thing so far? For Penelope, it was too hard to choose. “Everything is beautiful and perfect!”
As a cast member at Disneyland Resort in California, Kirstin couldn’t wait to visit Walt Disney World Resort for the first time. And she couldn’t have picked a better travel companion: her best friend, Lindsay. “I love the Happily Ever After fireworks. We both cried multiple times. It was so inspiring, and my jaw was literally dropped the entire time. It was just so incredible.” As for Kristen, she loved the different cultures that were reflected at Epcot.
Another fan of World Showcase at Epcot was James, who was visiting from England. “I just like visiting a little piece of each country, meeting people from around the world and trying some different food that I normally never get the chance to try. Daniel, on the other hand, loves to tackle the “mountains” at Magic Kingdom Park. “You really can’t go wrong with that.”
Cindy was looking to take a break from her regular life … and more importantly, have some fun! When asked what her favorite thing was at Walt Disney World Resort, the answer was simple. “I love their corn dogs!”

My happy place at Disney World is sitting down to a good hot dog at Casey’s in the MK and then watching a parade! Hollywood Studios is my other Happy Place!

probably when I walk down Main Street with the people I love and care about and just seeing that castle is probably the best way to find my happy place!!
