  • Hello, so I’m wondering, after June 24 when you no longer need a reservation, how does SW:GE work? Is it just like a regular park where you buy a ticket and you walk in or do you need to stay at the Disney Land Resort? And if I book a reservation for the resort, would it still include a pass to go to SW:GE after June 24 or would I have to also buy a ticket to the park? Thanks. 🙂

  • I have reservations for May 31. For the Millennium Falcon ride, will baby swap service be provided? I have a two year-old, and I assume that my wife and I would need to take turns for going on the ride.

  • @Ryan…those hotel guests who received their designated SW:GE reservations attached to their hotel bookings will only receive ONE reservation, per guest, per duration of stay…regardless of length of stay. General reservations made online were open to the general public, on a first come, first served basis…unrelated to the Hotel Guest benefit of a “secured” reservation, as was explained to me by Guest Services. The only restrictions that apply, across the board, is that the name of each guest must match the guests’ identification, and each guest have paid admission into the park. If guests have secured their reservations on the general website, and have fulfilled the requirements, they are all set…

  • Hi @Brandon, I heard that if you have reservations from a hotel they will not let you use the reservation you made on 05/02, Disneyland was answering users questions regarding the reservations and they said you can only go once, have you heard of this?

  • Terrill, I called on Thursday regarding the issue with not having an “add guest” option and was told that if they are able to find a solution they would email or call me back. I have not heard anything yet.

  • was anyone able to modify their reservation if they initially could not add guests?

  • Check your junk mail for your confirmation that is where I found mine.

  • I wasn’t able to see the Add Guest button either. There should have been a recap page at the end where you can confirm both your time and the amount of guests in your party. This was poorly designed and guests shouldn’t be penalized when it’s an honest misunderstanding. I hope Disneyland management will do the right thing and accommodate guests that only unintentionally made reservations for groups of 1.

  • It was easy to get a reservation for star wars but for some reason I haven’t received a confirmation email but I was able to add my guests, got my scan code and confirmation number. Who could I ask about a confirmation email?

  • Hotel Guests would’ve received your SWGE reservation via email on April 22nd…check your SPAM because for some strange reason, that’s where it went. Also, it cannot be changed. As of now, the online reservation page is CLOSED, due to slots no longer available. The process was definitely tricky because this was the first time Disney incorporated a system like this…and we were all “flying blind”. Although I had secured a reservation time with my Hotel Reservation already, my family and I (with our own Disneyland accts) all logged into the “general public” booking site at 8am PST…and it put us in the queue immediately, as the system cycled itself for the 2 hours until 10am PST…then I successfully booked the first of three reservation about 10 mins later, each for my family of 6. This was necessary since although we have an entire week booked at The Grand Californian, and passes for that week, the hotel booking only awards Hotel Guests ONE SWGE reservation (a 4-hr. block) for the entire stay…no matter how long. Timing, experimentation, and a whole lot of guess work was necessary to access the site…and 8am PST was truly the time to log on, even though it didn’t alow for booking until 10am PST…because you would be in queue before anyone else that tried afterwards. I had to be hypervigilant to get the reservations since my entire family is flying in from HAWAII to be a part of this epic event…and we were up since 4am LOCAL TIME to log on at 5am (8am PST). I hope it all works out for everyone…have a blessed day

  • There was not an add guest button. How will Disney rectify this and keep it the happiest place on earth?

  • To others – The problem was random and did not happen to everyone. When I called Disney about 10:30am they acknowledged IT WAS HAPPENING TO MANY GUESTS, but not all.
So please do not say there was “definitely an add guest” button. For many there was not.

  • It seems MANY MANY folks went to make reservations but there was a glitch so they COULD NOT ADD NAMES TO THEIR GROUP! This happened to me and 3 other friends of mine.

I called the reservation number that was on my confirmation and was told this was indeed happening and Disney was working to correct it. Disney’s fault! Not the guests.
Let’s hope Disney does the right thing and let them go back to add the names and/or allows them to bring in up to 5 people as promised! It would not be fair if we couldn’t do that.
    Thank you

  • I didn’t see the “add guest” button either. I called and got through to assistance. They said there is nothing that can be done at the moment and many people had this issue. She told me since all the reservations are booked for capacity, you can’t add more people.

  • Got mine for June 5th, 5-9 pm.

  • I also got a reservation but did not get an option to add other names. Been calling the phone number constantly since getting the reservation confirmation. My kids wanted to stay home from school to call but I said I would take care of it. They will be crushed if I cant add them!

Has anyone gotten through to get assistance??

  • I’m so happy I got in! I didn’t exactly get the time window I preferred for my first visit to Galaxy’s Edge, but I’m just thrilled and grateful to have scored a reservation at all. I can’t believe that this is all happening in a few weeks!

  • I did not see the “add guest” button and it would not let me go back. So my wife created her account and added the kids but we have two differnet 4 hour windows, but they overlap at 5pm. Can we just all enter at 5pm roam aroud for 45 mins then get on the ride or will they remove half our party. How does this work? I need help please. I don’t want our vacation ruined when we have reservations for this land already.

  • Please help. I did not notice or see “the add guest” button and it would not let me go back. So I was forced to have one reservation. I scrambled to create an account for my husband and got him a reservation with our three kids but their window is 5pm to 9pm and mine is 2pm to 6pm. What exactly does the 4 hour window mean. Can we all just enter at 5pm when time over-laps then we have 4 hours from there to roam around? And what if your in line on smugglers run, will they remove you if your in line? Please Please help.

  • I made a reservation; but there was no “add guest” option. How would I go about adding the rest of my family to my reservation?

  • There was definitely an add guest button. There was also a phone number you can call although it will probably be quite busy. Phone number: 888-834-9125 (7am to 9pm PDT)

    Good luck

  • I didn’t see the ‘add guest’ button on my reservation so now I’m trying to cancel my reservation. I can’t go without my kids, they will kill me!! HOW do I cancel my reservation?

  • we have a hotel reservation on June 6th…..so we won’t know what time to go to SWGE until we actually check in to hotel? I know the room wouldn’t be ready until after 3/4pm., but can we check in early around 10am to get a designated time for entering? Also looks as though anyone can make this reservation at any time any day without a hotel reservation between 5/31-6/23, is that correct?

  • If you are staying at the hotel and have a reservation; but want a reservation for a different day, can you?
