by , Editorial Content Director, Disney Parks

The eighth and newest Tokyo DisneySea themed port announced last summer as part of the largest ever Tokyo DisneySea expansion has officially been named Fantasy Springs! On Tuesday, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company Bob Iger participated in a special groundbreaking ceremony with Toshio Kagami, Chairman & CEO of Oriental Land Company, to break the news.

This is an artist concept and is subject to change.

Scheduled to open in fiscal year 2022*, this exciting development will be themed to a magical spring that leads to a world of Disney fantasy with three areas inspired by the beloved Disney films “Frozen,” “Tangled” and “Peter Pan.” Guests will discover waterfalls and ponds flowing with magical spring waters in the new themed port, as well as four new attractions, three restaurants and a new Disney-themed hotel situated inside Tokyo DisneySea that will overlook Fantasy Springs.

We can’t wait to share more details with you on this incredible project! Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

*The Oriental Land Co., Ltd. Fiscal year starts April 1, 2022 and ends March 31, 2023.
