More than 600 children from Anaheim community organizations explored Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland park on May 30 prior to the land’s public opening. The community preview included Make-A-Wish Foundation, Anaheim Family YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim, Project S.A.Y., Project Access and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, each of which is supported by the Disneyland Resort.

Although neighbors, some of the children had never been to the Disneyland Resort. Watch their amazement as they explored the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion ever in a Disney park!

  • To whom ever has an answer to my question? With in Galaxy’s edge a number of shops have outfits available for purchase. From what I’ve read at the hotel here in FL. We are encouraged to dress the part. I have also learned that these outfits are not aloud to be worn in the park. Does this mean that guest of the hotel will have to change on the way to the park? Also it makes little sense to spend hundreds of dollars on an outfit, that you can’t ware in the environment it was meant to be worn in. People have worn Harry Potter robes there and it only enhances the experience for everyone! I want to purchase Jedi robes, or a orange pilot jumpsuit but if I can’t ware it in the park, it’s then just a waste of money!
