We’ve previously shared some adorable Play Disney Parks pins to commemorate your digital achievements within the app, and now we’re excited to announce the launch of three new pins! Perfect for decorating your lanyard, backpack, hat and more, guests can now purchase these new pins for earning the following ride achievements at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort: High Seas Scallywag at Pirates of the Caribbean, Hitchhiking Ghost at Haunted Mansion and Star Tourist at Star Tours – The Adventures Continue!
Featuring characters and icons from these beloved attractions, these adorable Disney pins can be found at select locations, while supplies last. To earn these achievements in the Play Disney Parks app, guests simply need to be logged in, opted into Bluetooth and Location Services, and ride the attractions featuring the achievements. Once the qualifying achievement has been earned and unlocked in the app, guests can show the digital achievement screen to a cast member to purchase the applicable commemorative pin.*
Guests at the Disneyland Resort can purchase the High Seas Scallywag and Hitchhiking Ghost pin at Pieces of Eight in New Orleans Square. The Star Tourist pin is available at The Star Trader located in Tomorrowland. All of the pins can be found at Westward Ho Trading Company in Frontierland.
If you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you can find the High Seas Scallywag pin at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar and the Hitchhiking Ghost pin at Memento Mori – both located in Magic Kingdom Park. Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can purchase the Star Tourist pin at Tatooine Traders. The entire collection is available at Frontier Trading Post back in Magic Kingdom Park.
Don’t forget to download the Play Disney Parks app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before your visit to collect your ride achievements and explore all of the exciting experiences available in the app. From specially curated playlists available through Apple Music® to interactive experiences, Disney Trivia to uniquely themed achievements across both resorts, Play Disney Parks has fun for all to enjoy together. You can even explore your Star Wars: Datapad in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, now open at Disneyland Resort and opening August 29 at Walt Disney World Resort.
