Tonight’s “After Dark” photography takes us to Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure park at the recently opened attraction, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind.
Inspired by the Disney and Pixar film “Inside Out,” Emotional Whirlwind takes you a sense-ational spin while aboard one of eight Memory Movers. Riley’s Emotions—Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear—need help sorting through memories being collected.
Disneyland Resort Photographer Josh Sudock was on hand to capture this stunning image. The vibrant colors from the attraction really pop in the evening hours, providing an emotional sight to those who stroll by.

Nice reimagined ride! Disney, but for future expansions in California Adventure, please do not completely ignore the unique California theme this park was built on! It was such a unique aspect of this park and is what made it different from Walt Disney World Resort. And speaking of Pixar Pier, please somehow find a way to bring back the old beach boys music that played in Sunshine Plaza and the original Paradise Pier somewhere in Disney’s California Adventure!!
