Many guests come to the Disney Parks Moms Panel in search of suggestions for making the most of celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort. Today we are here to share some of the panel’s must-do tips when it comes to celebrating…well, pretty much anything!

Family celebrating a birthday with a birthday cake

Tip #1 Celebrating a birthday!

There are so many incredible ways guests can enjoy their special day while staying at Walt Disney World Resort, and for many simply celebrating at the Most Magical Place on Earth is more than enough.

Panelist Robyn and her family decided that instead of birthday parties for her two children, they would head to Walt Disney World Resort and give each child an entire day of birthday fun to plan for themselves. For their son, it was a day planned at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and all his favorite attractions. The evening was capped off with the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. For their daughter, a day which began in Paris, (the France Pavilion at Epcot, and included macarons for breakfast at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, was followed by lots of fun at Epcot, and a surprise visit to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to ride horses with her dad!

Other great birthday ideas include a specialty cake, in-room celebrations, a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and don’t forget your birthday button! This button can be picked up at the front desk of your resort or in the parks. A day of being greeted with “Happy Birthday,” truly is the most magical way to ring in your day of birth!

Tip #2 Cheers to many more years together!

Wedding anniversaries are an extremely important time to enjoy a Disney vacation, either alone or with your family, which is just what Amy M. recommends. Since her wedding anniversary is the week before Christmas, she is able to combine an anniversary trip with the holiday magic that can only be found at Walt Disney World Resort.

“Whether we’re enjoying a romantic dinner at California Grill or fun with the whole family at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we find multiple ways to celebrate while we’re there. And, of course, we always remember to wear our “Happily Ever After” or “I’m Celebrating” buttons!

And if your anniversary does not fall during the holidays, considering booking a unique outing through the Enchanting Extras Collection. This collection offers everything from featured extras during your stay to park adventures unlike any you have ever experienced. Amazing nature experiences are available including Dine with Animal Specialist and Epcot Seas Adventures – DiveQuest.

Did you forget a gift?

If you forgot to buy a present for your better half, there are a more than enough amazing shops to find that perfect anniversary gift at Disney Springs. From Alexi and Ani to The Art of Disney, a perfect gift awaits you.

Tip #3 Hooray you did it!

Graduation from high school, college, a Master’s program or maybe just kindergarten, nothing says “Way to Go,” like a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Remember the magic by grabbing photos with your favorite Disney Characters, making reservations for a tour or even booking that celebratory cruise the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. And definitely don’t forget your “I’m Celebrating” button as Cast Members will be sure to congratulate you for a job well done.
