Each day this week, we are helping guests maximize their magical vacations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Today it’s not about families and it’s not about couples. Instead, it’s all about your squad! Did someone say road trip? Count us in!

Three friends in the France pavilion at Epcot

The Mission

You and your tribe have three days to soak in as much magic as possible, so panelists recommend creating “challenges” or goals for the fun-filled weekend. First goal, four parks in one day. According to Angie, this absolutely can be conquered as all it takes is careful planning, well thought out FastPass+ selections and just a bit of determination.

Minnie Van Connected by Lyft is also there to help you accomplish your four parks in one day goal. No need to worry about bus arrivals or ferry schedules as Minnie Van Service is a fantastic way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. As you and your friends travel from park to park you can plan your next attraction and the ever-important snack list, all while being whisked around in a Disney-owned and operated vehicle. All of this is accessible to you through the Lyft app!

Woman getting a massage at Senses - A Disney Spa

The Relaxation

According to the panelists, a girls’ weekend definitely calls for a spa treatment. Ashley P. highly recommends treating yourself at Senses – A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. A custom pedicure experience with complimentary light refreshments is a magical way to spend some time with your favorite gal pals at the Walt Disney World Resort! And did you know there are actually two Senses on property? Senses – A Disney Spa at Saratoga Springs Resort offers a wide variety of spa treatments including massage therapies, facial treatments and body therapies and wraps. Salon by the Springs, located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, is also a wonderful place to pamper yourself and your best buddies!

Three friends eating food at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festiva

The Food

Because what is a friends’ weekend without some amazing food? Yes, you can find out-of-this-world restaurants in Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs and theme parks, but how about eating around the world without ever leaving Epcot? You could begin your evening with a glass of wine at Monsieur Paul, where you can also delight in an appetizer that captures the flavors of France. Then take a short stroll over to England where you and your besties can enjoy delightful British fare such as fish and chips or bangers and mash at Rose & Crown Dining Room. Cap this close to perfect night off with one, or maybe even two, scoops of Italian gelato at Gelati

If your getaway happens to take place between August 29 and November 23, 2019, you won’t want to miss Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Try amazing food from countries around the world and enjoy some of your favorite bands at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. This year 36 musical acts will perform at The American Gardens Theatre three times nightly from August 29 through November 19.
