Having a Dino-Blast at Donald’s Dino-Bash!

Have you had a chance to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom and check out all the fun happening at Donald’s Dino-Bash! in DinoLand, U.S.A.? It’s become one of my family’s favorite spots in the park, especially with the chance to meet up with awesome characters like Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack from “DuckTales!”

This special, land-wide celebration is hosted by Donald Duck, in honor of his realization that ducks are actually descendants of dinosaurs. Throughout the day, you can meet Donald at the Welcome Center, and be on the lookout for Daisy, Pluto and Goofy, too! Chip ‘n Dale are there, dressed in the cutest dinosaur outfits you’ve ever seen, and in the evening they head over by Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama for a Dino-Riffic Dance Party.

I’ve just learned that our friends at Disney Parks Merchandise are introducing adorable new plush versions of Donald in his official Dino-Bash! outfit and Chip ‘n Dale in their dinosaur suits. Best of all, Chip ‘n Dale come as a set, holding hands. How cute is that?! They’ll be available starting today at Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures and Dino-Rama Cart. Looks like I’ll be planning another trip out to the park to pick these up for myself.

Of course, this summer is the perfect time to head back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park is alive with the magic of all-new experiences like the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, the park-wide celebration of “The Lion King,” adventures with Kevin from “UP!” and the recently-updated “Rivers of Light: We Are One.”

Who else is going? Will I see you out there?

  • How far in advance do you list the schedule? I arrive in less then two weeks and schedule is still unavailable

  • Is this event year round? I hope it is as it gives me an opportunity to visit Uncle Scrooge outside of the holiday season at Walt Disney World!

  • Is this an ongoing event? I hope so as I am planning a trip in 2021.

    • Christine – Our entertainment offerings are always subject to change. At this time, though, Donald’s Dino-Bash is expected to be with us for a while.

  • Oh gosh how adorable!
We always enjoy DinoLand! We have a lot of fun trying our skills at the games too! Have to admit, we’ve been pretty lucky winning there!
