It’s time for Christmas in July! Although it may be a bit too warm out for sweaters and Santa hats, it’s the perfect excuse for us to give you the gift of exciting new Disney Parks news. For the first time ever during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select Magic Kingdom attractions are receiving special enhancements just for the holidays!
When you get behind the wheel on the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself cruising a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor. The crew at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is putting some “Ha Ha Ha” in their “Ho Ho Ho,” with a new show for everyone visiting the Monster World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Space Mountain launches you on a trippy jaunt through the cosmos, filled with dazzling lighting and high-energy holiday tunes, and Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland becomes a wild and wacky Christmas party, as you spin your teacups to one of four new holiday combos of lights and music.
All this is in addition to the brand new “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show, debuting this year. And there are plenty of returning favorites like “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas,” Club Tinsel, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade”, not to mention sparkling décor, complimentary treats and a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.
Treat someone you love to a Christmas in July surprise, and get tickets today for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – save $10 when you buy your tickets in advance! The party starts at Magic Kingdom Park on November 8 and is offered select nights through December 22, 2019.
What a great treat! Must be breathtaking all around WDW at the Holiday time!
By any chance, will this new “holiday twist” be in effect during Christmas week??
Is this in addition to the normal holiday overlays? I’d hate for the Jingle Cruise to not come back! That’s the best part!
Will the music on Space Mountain be the same that is played in Tokyo Disneyland?
1) I am SOOOOOO happy to read that A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas will be back. I LOOOOOVE that show!
2) The Christmas decorations for Tomorrowland Speedway sound Out of this World!
3) I hope the Jingle Cruise comes back, too!
Will the new holiday twist and Minnie’s fireworks be available Christmas week? 12/24 thru 1/1
Excited to read about all the offerings, but why not the IASW holiday overlay?!
Looks like fun. Totally wish Country Bear Christmas Special would come back.
Will Uncle Scrooge still be a regular at MVMCP? Seeing him is my favorite part of the event!
It’d be great to have these holiday attraction enhancements during regular park hours too.
Waiting on the show, parade, fireworks times to be released so I can plan!
