We all know that life can be “ruff” sometimes, but here at the Disneyland Resort, we want to make sure you enjoy your last days of summer. So, fetch your Disney ears and get ready for a tail-wagging good time. In honor of National Dog Day, which is today, here are a few ways to celebrate at the Disneyland Resort:

Play with Pluto

Man’s best friend becomes mouse’s best friend with our favorite Disney dog Pluto! Spot Pluto while he takes his dog walk around the Disneyland Resort as he stops in Town Square and Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland park, Grizzly Peak at Disney California Adventure park, Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel and Storyteller’s Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Pluto also makes an appearance in the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic!

Dog bowl and toys

Pick up merchandise of-fur-ings

Whether you have two legs or four, the Disneyland Resort has merchandise to commemorate the special bond between you and your fur-ever friend. Stay com-fur-table in Disney Dog leggings, socks, pajamas and t-shirt. You can even buy matching a Disneyland Resort spirit jersey for you and your pup!

The Princess collection features a harness, leash, collar, toys and accessories fit for royalty. The Park Food collection takes the iconic food of Disney Parks and brings it home to your dog—from a food-inspired water bowl and water mat to Mickey-shaped waffle toys. These items and more can be found at Disney Home at Downtown Disney District.

Hot dog

Enjoy hot diggity dogs and corn dogs

You’ll like being in this dog house! Head over to Pluto’s Dog House in Disneyland park for quick-service premium hot dogs and kid’s turkey hot dogs. At Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., choose from a Firefly Hot Dog, Hot Dog Basket, Mac & Cheese Dog Basket or Chili Cheese Dog Basket.

In Disney California Adventure park, stroll down to Pixar Pier’s Angry Dogs to relish bliss on a bun with either a spicy or not-so-spicy hot dog and all the fixins. You can also challenge your taste buds at the Corn Dog Castle and choose from the original, hot link or ooey-gooey cheddar corn dog options.

“Howl” you spend your last days of summer? You should “paws” your back-to-school shopping and head over to the Disneyland Resort to celebrate the last dog days of summer!
