Find Your #HappyPlace: What Not To Miss This Fall!

Fall is just around the corner! With so many new things to see at Walt Disney World, here are a few of my favorite must-see items that will instantly put you in your #HappyPlace!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Everyone’s favorite not-so-scary event is back…and better than ever. The costumes, treats, and classic attractions are always a must, but year also brings the debut of “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular”, a new nighttime fireworks extravaganza, hosted by the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington! Also, the very popular “Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade!” is back, adding a new Tomorrowland unit that includes The Incredibles and Edna Mode, followed by Buzz Lightyear and his alien explorers. With select nights available now through November 1, you can celebrate Halloween as early as you want!

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

It wouldn’t be fall without a visit to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I can’t wait to sample some of my favorite dishes, along with some new ones.  The Appleseed Orchard Marketplace will offer apple-inspired beers, ciders and cocktails that are amazing to pair with Charcuterie and Cheese. Yum! While The Alps Marketplace will include Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette, or Venison Stew with Crushed Potatoes paired with a refreshing Frozen Rosé. Don’t forget Emile’s Fromage Montage where you can sample a variety of delicious cheeses. MMMMM…cheese! And a visit to the festival wouldn’t be complete without some live music from the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Say Farewell to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, and Hello to “Epcot Forever”

This fall we say farewell to “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” at Epcot, but there’s still time for you to say good-bye. The nighttime spectacular comes to an end September 30th, so catch it while you can. However, fear not! “Epcot Forever” an all-new, limited-time spectacle of fireworks, music, lighting, lasers and choreographed, special effects kites will debut on October 1. The show will take us on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot.  If you’re a fan of Epcot like I am, what’s not to love?

Disney Skyliner Takes Flight

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so excited to soar above Walt Disney World on Disney Skyliner. Taking flight on September 29th, the gondolas will transport guests staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Some of the cabins even feature graphics of some of your favorite Disney characters, including my personal favorites Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.  Did I mention the views?!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Need I say more? Is anyone else as excited as I am to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? Oga’s Cantina is offering yummy cocktails to quench your thirst, and Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo has delicious food that is truly out of this world! Most exciting of all is being able to fly aboard fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Whatever your reason for visiting the planet of Batuu, once there, you are sure to be in your #Happy Place.

What are you looking forward to the most this Fall?
