While you may know that the Disney Fantasy sails year-round from Port Canaveral, did you know there are a variety of itinerary lengths and ports this ship visits each year? The Disney Fantasy offers spaces for everyone onboard, so no matter what itinerary you choose, your family will find immersive clubs designed just for kids and teens, exclusive areas for adults and activities for everyone to participate in together. But the best part is – the fun isn’t limited to just onboard! Let’s take a closer look below at some of the tropical destinations your family can sail to on the Disney Fantasy… some of these just may surprise you!

Disney Fantasy

Bahamas

The Disney Fantasy is known for the week-long voyages to the Caribbean that fill a large majority of the year, but did you know that this ship also sails three-, four- and five-night voyages to the Bahamas? That’s right, a Bahamian weekend getaway is also an option for your family on the Disney Fantasy, where you can swim with dolphins and discover a world of sand, surf and sun in the tropics.

St. Lucia Pitons

Caribbean

If you want to see more of the Caribbean, the Disney Fantasy can take you there! With voyages lasting anywhere from six to nine nights, these sailings allow your family to experience ports in the furthest reaches of the Caribbean. Check out some of Mexico’s finest hot spots in Cozumel and Costa Maya, while also visiting Grand Cayman and Jamaica on the Western Caribbean itineraries. Eastern Caribbean cruises make stops in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, along with select voyages to Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Maarten. The longer sailings also offer your family more time to relax onboard with the addition of days at sea, giving you more opportunities to watch movies, visit the Senses Spa & Salon, ride the AquaDuck and – my personal favorite – visit Sweet on You for some treats for the whole family!

Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay

Each and every voyage on the Disney Fantasy also makes a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests. This award-winning destination is the ultimate escape for everyone in your family with adventure and relaxation in a lush, tropical setting filled with classic Disney storytelling. Whether you’re biking along the trails, snorkeling in the crystal blue waters or floating the day away, this stop on your Disney Fantasy vacation is sure to be a fan-favorite for everyone in the family!

Darth Vader on the Disney Fantasy for Star Wars Day at Sea

Star Wars Day at Sea

Also exclusive to the Disney Fantasy is Star Wars Day at Sea, which is offered on select seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings in early 2020. Nine cruises will combine the splendor of a Disney Cruise line vacation with a special day at sea filled with unique character encounters, live shows and action-packed entertainment. Take the Star Wars super fan in your family to a galaxy far, far away on these exclusive sailings from January through March in 2020!

BUCCANEER BLAST! FIREWORKS AT SEA ON THE DISNEY DREAM

Which itinerary sounds the best for your family? Whether it’s a three-night weekend getaway or a week-long vacation to an island you’ve never visited, there is fun and relaxation ahead for your entire family on the Disney Fantasy!
