We’re kicking off the week on the Disney Parks Blog with a look at what the Ugly Duckling from the 1939 Silly Symphony “The Ugly Duckling” short may do if he had the chance to visit a Disney Park.
According to artist Ashley Taylor, the Ugly Duckling, who is taken in by a loving family of swans by the end of the short, just may take to the water at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, for a special holiday celebration all their own.
“The nighttime shows at Disney are a great way to spend quality time with friends and family,” Ashley said. “It’s easy to imagine The Ugly Duckling and his mom enjoying their time in Echo Lake during ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!’ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!”
