The holidays at the Disneyland Resort are here and today I want to focus on the perfect familia fiesta, “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!”
“Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is a holiday celebration embracing Latino culture and traditions, filled with música, décor, baile and lots of Disney magic, ideal para toda la familia. Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure park has transformed with colorful papel picado banners, piñatas and a flurry of festive accents to celebrate the holidays with some of your favorite Disney characters! Panchito from Mexico, José Carioca from Brazil and Donald los esperan at the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party to dance to the rhythm of mariachi and samba alongside folklórico dancers and incredible 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Like any fiesta, food is essential! Paradise Garden Grill is offering an array of traditional Mexican dishes that includes Plant-Based Chile Relleno, Torta al Pastor, House-Made Pozole, Street-Style Tacos and more! And to celebrate Disney Festival of Holidays, enjoy Buñuelos with Cajeta, which are two golden fried flour tortillas dusted with cinnamon sugar served with a side of cajeta!
Y para cerrar con broche de oro, the Three Kings’ Day celebration, happening from Jan. 3-6, 2020, commemorates the three wise men, known as El Día de los Reyes Magos with música, live events and enchanting Latin American traditions.
