The holiday season is here at the Disneyland Resort. To help you plan, here are some “winter-ful” holiday experiences and treats for you and your children to enjoy together throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks.

Disneyland Park:

1. Celebrate Peace on Earth and board “it’s a small world” Holiday together

Your little ones will be in awe as they experience this classic attraction’s transformation into a festive yuletide winter wonderland with delight at every turn. New this year, you and your little ones will experience three immersive scents, including cherry blossom in Asia, holiday cinnamon in South America and coconut in the South Seas.

2. Take a gander at the festively funny garland around Mickey’s Toontown

Mickey will be home for the holidays and all are welcome to his wacky wonderland town complete with “toon” trees and decorations that celebrate Mickey and his pals’ seasonal styles. While you’re in town, take a tour of Mickey’s house and Minnie’s house for a greeting of a lifetime!

3. Indulge in sweet holiday treats with your little sweeties

Children will enjoy the smells and tastes of the holidays with delicious holiday sweet treats! Take them to taste treats like the Mickey gingerbread man, Sugar Cookie Churro and Mickey & Minnie Crispy Treats at select locations throughout the Disneyland Resort.

4. Bond together as a family and experience “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade

This classic parade has returned for the holiday season with magical floats and joyous characters. Enjoy seeing your children light up like a Christmas tree when they see the reindeer prance and the toy soldiers dance! Dazzling floats include Elsa and Anna from “Frozen,” Woody and Buzz from “Toy Story,” the Disney Princesses and more!

5. Behold the awe-inspiring “Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular

Gaze at gorgeous Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle as it sparkles before you during this nighttime pyrotechnical spectacle – perfect for all ages! Your little ones will be amazed by the shimmering lights above and the “snow” that falls after the celebration!

Disney California Adventure Park:

1. Dance along to the beat during “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” character celebration

Come cheer, the party’s here! As part of Disney Festival of Holidays, kids will love seeing their favorite characters from Disney and Pixar dance down the street to holiday rhythms beat by the Holiday Toy Drummers.

2. Taste delicious food and enjoy kid-friendly crafts during Disney Festival of Holidays

Walk along and stop at the various Festival Foods Marketplace locations to experience belly-loving bites sure to please any little one. Some offerings include the holiday stuffing mac & cheese and hot cocoa marshmallow macaron. In between bites, take some time to make multicultural crafts — which are complimentary for kids!

3. Have yourselves a “haul-y” jolly season while exploring Cars Land

The residents of Radiator Springs have transformed the town with holiday décor for all to see! Two attractions have embraced the holiday spirit: Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. Your little ones will love singing along to “car-tunes,” such as “We Wish You Season’s Speedings” and “Carol of the Horns.”

4. Visit with Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

Make your list and check it twice before heading to see Santa’s Holiday Visit at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Make sure to utilize Disney PhotoPass to capture memories of this holly jolly encounter.

5. Enjoy the nighttime spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light

Spread holiday magic by taking your little ones to experience this evening spectacular. Watch in awe as water, light, story and song are transformed into pure holiday magic.

We hope these experiences with your little ones will add to your family’s holiday traditions. What is your favorite holiday experience at the Disneyland Resort?
