Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World Resort will host an “Afternoon with an Artist” at Reunion Station on Nov. 17 from 2-6 p.m. The complimentary event will allow Members and guests to meet Disney artist Michelle St. Laurent while enjoying a sparkling wine toast and passed hors d’oeuvres.

If you’ve visited the Epcot International Festival of the Arts or an Art of Disney shop on property, you’re likely to recognize the colorful, timeless style of this popular artist, who says that, through her work, she aspires, “to recreate the classic Disney magic, which allows each of us to be a kid again.”

Disney artist Michelle St. Laurent

Inspired by Italian Renaissance painters Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci at a young age, Michelle made it her goal to become a Disney artist when her family moved to Florida at the age of 16. She worked at Magic Kingdom Park throughout high school then attended the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, majoring in Advertising and Design. With years of experience under her belt working as a scenic artist for theme parks and production companies, Michelle achieved her goal of becoming a Disney artist when she began painting for the Disney Galleries in 1998. For the past decade, Michelle has created artwork for Disney Theme Park Merchandise and special events as part of Disney Design Group.

Michelle’s art will be available for purchase during this special event. No advance reservations are required.
