Time to Celebrate! The Holidays Begin Today at Disneyland Resort

The most magical time of the year officially kicks off today at the Disneyland Resort! Enjoy seasonal magic and festive traditions at the Merriest Place on Earth now through Jan. 6, 2020.

There’s an all-new character celebration, “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” which also starts today in Disney California Adventure park. Mickey is joined by favorite Disney and Pixar characters as they dance along to high-energy music, led by the merry rhythms of the Holiday Toy Drummers. “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” will run twice daily, with show moments at Paradise Gardens Park and Carthay Circle.

In Disney California Adventure park, favorite holiday experiences return, including Disney Festival of Holidays. Celebrate the sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day (Jan. 3-6). In addition, “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” street party celebration features colorful live entertainment. Over in Cars Land, the residents of Radiator Springs have decked out Route 66 for the season. The nighttime spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light” also dazzles Paradise Bay with stunning lights, lasers, water, fire and hundreds of fountains bringing animation to life.

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, Disneyland park

In Disneyland park, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle sparkles with shimmering icicles and twinkling lights by day and night. Be sure to catch Mickey, Minnie, Disney Princesses and Santa in “A Christmas Fantasy” parade, a daily procession with floats, music and marching toy soldiers. In the evening, “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular will enchant everyone of all ages, especially during its magical snowfall finale. Popular attractions have also transformed for the season, including “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday.
