Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is now open at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Before this first-of-its-kind attraction debuted today, we hosted a special #DisneyParksLIVE stream of Wednesday night’s dedication ceremony right here on the Disney Parks Blog.  You can still watch the entire intergalactic celebration in the video below.

On each adventure, guests join the Resistance and depart from Batuu in a transport ship to meet General Leia Organa at a secret rendezvous point. However, on their way to the hidden base, guests are intercepted and taken prisoner by the First Order as their ship is drawn into the hangar bay of a Star Destroyer. The action then ramps up as guests seek to escape the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order.

Before the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance dedication ceremony, some of the Disney cast members who helped bring this incredible new adventure to life united inside Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to celebrate the groundbreaking attraction.

Before the dedication ceremony, some of the Disney cast members who helped bring this incredible new adventure to life united inside Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to celebrate the groundbreaking attraction.   Some cast members shed tears of joy and cheered after experiencing the attraction.

Now, it’s your turn!  You’re invited to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and live your own Star Wars adventure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As a reminder, guests at Disneyland park in California can begin enjoying Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when the attraction opens there on January 17, 2020.
