Today is Giving Tuesday, a perfect day to share an opportunity to give back this holiday season. This weekend, Dec. 7 and 8, the Downtown Disney District will host a Toys for Tots drive from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for less fortunate children in Orange County, California.

Guests can drop off new, unpackaged toys valued at $10 or more in donation bins located near the Downtown Disney District LIVE! stage. U.S. Marines will be on hand to accept the donations! There also will be a convenient way to purchase toys for donation at a pop-up shop between Disney’s Pin Traders and the Downtown Disney District monorail station.

Disney’s tradition of supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program dates back to Walt Disney, who personally supervised the creation of the Toys for Tots logo. Disney also was a founding sponsor of the program when it began in 1947.

Today, Disneyland Resort is proud to continue the tradition of supporting Toys for Tots. Since 2006, our guests and cast members have donated more than 160,000 toys!
