As Walt Disney once said, “You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world… but it takes people to make the dream a reality.”

For years, you’ve been telling us all about our exceptional cast members by using #CastCompliment on social media. Now, in honor of National Compliment Day, we want to share your stories!

Keep sharing your #CastCompliment’s and you may see them featured on our social channels.

You aren’t the only ones who take the time to compliment our incredible cast members – they recognize each other, too! Since 2015, Walt Disney World Resort cast members have shared compliments, messages of gratitude and recognition – or grape sodas, as we like to call them – more than 2 million times through an internal program called Recognize Now!.

So celebrate with us! Tell someone why they are great and spread kindness. Whether it’s a cast member bringing the magic of Disney to life, or just someone who made your day a little easier — recognize them and make the World a little bit brighter.

  • Our family enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and some characters from Splash Mountain. Not only was the breakfast great but the cast members signed to our Deaf son. It was an amazing experience for our family! It was truly magical. Thank you so much to Emily from Colorado and the characters! This is an experience we will never forget. We cannot thank them enough for the awesome interaction.

  • I visit the parks often and always look for opportunities to leave a #castcompliment for Cast Members who go above and beyond to make extra magic for guests.

My only sadness is that I can’t leave #castcompliments for the characters as they make every single visit truly an exceptional memorable experience. I have TONS of great memories of interacting with them and hope they realize even if they are not formally recognized just how special they are!

  • I love national compliment day it brings warm feelings to my heart
