Married at Sea with Disney Cruise Line

Working aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is a dream job for many, and for Irena and Oliver it’s a family affair. This couple has been serving guests aboard the Disney Magic since 2017.

Whether their love was destiny or happenstance is fodder for a romantic comedy: they met for the first time at Miami International Airport on their way to the same cruise ship. Has it always been smooth sailing? They say that being married at sea “is awesome 90 percent of the time” and working for Disney has been an amazing experience. They’re not only committed to each other, but also to creating special memories for our guests. They’re grateful for the chance to meet people from all around the world and connect with families year after year.

With three new ships on the horizon, Irena and Oliver look to the future. “Working for DCL has helped us achieve goals we couldn’t otherwise,” says Irena. “It’s something that you can’t compare to anything else.”
