Hello, Disney Parks Blog readers! I wanted to share an update on our beloved wildlife. Although Walt Disney World Resort is temporarily closed, Disney’s Animal Care team is continuing to provide top-notch care to the thousands of animals who roam our savanna and seas. We are diligently following state and federal guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our dedicated team.
Check out a video that shares more about the amazing work our cast members are doing to ensure our animals continue to thrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And stay tuned for a heartwarming announcement that we’ll be making!
Finally, follow me and my team as we care for animals and work to make an impact on environments and habitats across the globe on my Instagram, @DrMarkAtDisney. Hope to see you soon!
Thank you for all your cast members do to take care of the animals at the park and lodge! Looking forward to seeing behind the scenes videos of the animals (especially our favorite Sumatran tiger, Malosi!)
I am a former cast member at Disneyland and know what it takes to be one, but cast members, these days, are going above and beyond anything I ever had to handle. Thank you to ALL of you for doing what needs to be done. I love you all. As another former cast member friend says, “once a cast member, ALWAYS a cast member.” We’re family, and even if I never worked with you, we share a bond. So as the Illuminations song says, “We Are One.”
Thank you all for your continued dedication to all the animals
We all applaud you for your work during these trying times
Wish Disney would do a whole show on how all the animals are doing. I know it would be hard right now but people really wonder if they are okay.
Thank you for all you do for the animals. I was wondering if Disney would be creating any live streams of the animals like what some zoos are doing. I would especially like to see the sumatran tigers!
