In celebration of #FeelGoodFriday yesterday, we invited students from Osceola County School for the Arts to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be immersed in the wacky, wonderful world of animation and experience firsthand what went into creating our latest attraction—Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

These budding artists got to become part of the cartoon world themselves when they hopped aboard Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway for the very first time and saw animation come alive like never before.

But that’s not all — they also had the opportunity to learn from a few of the inspiring and talented cast members who played key roles in developing the attraction.

From learning how to draw classic Disney animated characters and seeing how costume sketches become tangible outfits to watching performers bring a classic fairytale to life on stage, there was no shortage of creativity to inspire these students to pursue their artistic passions.

Immersing our youth in memorable and educational experiences at our theme parks is just one of the many ways Walt Disney World Resort has continued to shape the minds, hearts and futures of our youngest neighbors for nearly 50 years.
