For more than six decades, Disneyland has been a source of joy and inspiration to all the world – particularly during challenging times. In this spirit, we’re bringing more #DisneyMagicMoments to you from the Disneyland Resort.
An iconic Victorian-style lamp glows every night from Walt Disney’s apartment in Disneyland park. Our President Rebecca Campbell reflects on its special meaning:

Inside Walt Disney’s apartment overlooking Town Square at Disneyland, a light has shone through the window above the firehouse for decades. It glows as a source of inspiration to our cast and our guests as a remembrance of the man who once looked out that window to the sights of happy families making memories below. Tonight, even in a world filled with so much uncertainty, that light still shines, bright as ever. I’m looking forward to the day when families can make memories once again. #disneycastlife #disneymagicmoments
Today, even in a world filled with so much uncertainty, that light still shines, bright as ever.
Just a reminder that with some faith, trust and pixie dust almost anything is possible.
Whenever my family is at Disneyland–our “home” park–we always look for “Walt’s light” in the window above the firehouse. We know it means Walt’s spirit and inspiration will always remain at Disneyland.
We hope to soon be able to view the light in person again.
Thank-you for sharing this. My family and I have not been to WDL, only WDW, and did not know about this.
What a beautiful piece of history, nostalgia and comfort.
To me that light has always been a symbol of love and faith. I hope we all can love and help each other and that we have faith that things will get better.
Just hold on.
