Earlier today, Walt Disney World Ambassador Stephen Lim caught our attention with a smile-invoking photo of the first time he met Minnie Mouse.  With the photo, Stephen also challenged some of his friends on Instagram to share their own first Disney character experience – and we’re loving what we’re seeing.

Actress and entrepreneur Ashley Eckstein, who is the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels and founded the Her Universe fashion company and lifestyle brand, accepted the challenge and shared a special look at her first Disney character meeting with Eeyore.

Dale and Goofy were among the first Disney character experiences for ABC News Chief Meteorologist and New York Times best-selling author, Ginger Zee who is celebrating the release of the latest book in her Chasing Helicity series, Through the Storm.

And Disneyland Resort Ambassador Justin Rapp accepted Stephen’s challenge and shared a photo of his first Disney character magic moment with Mickey Mouse.

Now, it’s your turn!   We’re excited to see more first Disney character photos from Disney Parks Blog readers.  Share your photo or video now on Instagram tagging #DisneyMagicMoments and challenge three friends of your own to show their favorite first Disney character images.

  • Hi!

I’m a Vietnam War veteran. I had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World a few months prior to its ‘official’ opening in the early 1970’s while I was stationed at Eglin AFB, FL. Also, I visited ‘the World’ again in the mid 1980’s.

Should I visit WDW again, I most definitely will want to ‘see’ the Millennium Falcon located in the ‘Galaxy’s Edge’ STAR WARS attraction!

Just out of curiosity….are all eleven STAR WARS movies going to be made available for ‘home video’ in 3D?
