You may have noticed some new notifications and featurettes in the Disneyland or My Disney Experience mobile apps recently – like Disney Parks Artist Studio or Magic Moments in History, where you can learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, discover fun facts about Disney Parks, or play games and trivia through the Play Disney Parks mobile app. Today, we’re excited to share that there’s even more to come from these series and others within the Disneyland or My Disney Experience app – and they can all be enjoyed from home!

From fun recipes inspired by Disney Parks foods and animated stories, to highlights from your favorite shows and parades, PhotoPass wallpapers and more, there are videos, games and fun facts on the way, bringing some Disney Parks magic to you. In the coming weeks, you’ll even be able to enjoy the Jungle Cruise joke-of-the-day or experience Wilderness Explorers at home through a series of short-form videos, too.

To discover new features like these, users simply need to be logged into either (or both) of the apps and have push notifications turned on.

Whether you’re learning to make frozen pineapple treats or how to draw the famed feathered friends from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

If you haven’t already, be sure to download the Disneyland and My Disney Experience apps from the App Store or Google Play to check out new videos and episodes in these series and more. • How do you find this feature?

  • I cannot find this feature on the app. Can someone please post how to find it. I’ve updated both apps with no success

  • I’m only able to access the recipe for the Dole Whip, can anyone help?

  • If you go the top of the page under ‘Topics’ you can find all the recipes under Disney recipes.

  • Can you please reply within the thread here so everyone can see the solution? We are asking if there is there is something special we need to do to get the Now Your Cooking feature you speak of in this article. Like many others, I have updated my app, and I see the artist studio but not the Now Your Cooking. Perhaps it is only in one certain app? Perhaps they disabled it due to problems with it? Can we please get an update or instructions on how to access this feature? Thank you

  • I had to update the app to see the recipe and artist studio additions. Hope this helps.

  • I’m getting the “Artist Studio” but not the “Now you’re cooking” part on my app. I’m in Brazil.

  • Recipes aren’t showing up for me either. I think it’s time for Disney to just go back to posting the recipes here at the blog like they used to do. It’s a lot easier. 🙂

  • I also can’t find the recipes section on either app, and I’m in Florida. Really disappointed 🙁

  • I can’t see the recipes either…my 4 yr old daughter really wants to make the Jack Jack num num cookies tmrw for Good Friday. Does anyone know where/how I can find it on the Disney app?

  • I am also looking for the ‘now you’re cooking’ part.

  • I am also not seeing the recipes anywhere on my app. Does it have anything to do with being in Canada?

  • The Park Recipes at Home is not showing up in Disneyland App or My Disney Experience App on any of my devices? What do I need to do differently? Feeling left out here. Thank you and have a Disney day!

  • I hope on that magical day when the parks reopen, Elsa and Anna are there to sing “For the First Time I’m Forever”
