One of the most exciting things about Disney+ is the ability to bring a full dose of Disney magic right to the comfort of your own home, allowing everyone to enjoy #DisneyMagicMoments with families, friends and fans. For those of us looking to welcome a piece of Disney Parks into our daily lives, we’ve created a list of some of the movies, shows and shorts inspired by favorite Disneyland park experiences — all available right now on Disney+.
With that, let’s take a tour around Disneyland park! While we’re away, check out these titles that may bring you closer to the beloved park we can’t wait to get back to visiting.
Tomorrowland: “Finding Nemo,” “The Rocketeer” and “Expedition Mars: Spirit & Opportunity”
Whether you like to start your day with a journey deep under the ocean on Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, sky high on Astro Orbitor or even further into space exploring Mars, the spirit of Tomorrowland and its mission to explore new frontiers of science, adventure and the future is the perfect place to start our list!
Fantasyland: “Sleeping Beauty,” “Pinocchio” and “Peter Pan”
Right in the heart of Disneyland park lies Fantasyland, the fairytale village that brings to life the wonder and magic of some of our favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios classic films. We can start with the icon of the park, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and then work our way through Pinocchio’s Daring Journey and Peter Pan’s Flight for some whimsical, classic animation.
Frontierland: “Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier,” “Pocahontas” and “The Adventures of Huck Finn”
Next, let’s venture out to the wild, wild west for those who love the thrilling Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Frontierland’s tribute to the pioneers and trail blazers bring us to films like “Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier” and “Pocahontas,” then across the river to Tom Sawyer Island with “The Adventures of Huck Finn.”
Mickey’s Toontown: “DuckTales,” “A Goofy Movie” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”
To visit the zany stories of Mickey and friends in their very own toon world, there’s a great selection of Disney classics about the whole gang. You can follow along with the adventures of Huey, Dewey and Louie in their show or go on a wild road trip with Goofy and his son Max. You can even revisit the classic Toontown attraction with “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”
Love being able to live out your very own Star Wars adventure during your trip to the Disneyland Resort? Look no further than Episode VII and Episode III of the epic Skywalker saga for a reminder of your adventures at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You can even find Hondo Ohnaka from your adventures on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
Critter Country: “Zootopia,” “Winnie the Pooh” and “Bambi”
A trip to Critter Country wouldn’t be complete without thinking about the critters that live in Zootopia and the Hundred Acre Woods. With films like “Bambi,” “Zootopia” and “Winnie the Pooh,” you’re sure to find many animal friends who will remind you of your favorite park memories.
New Orleans Square: “The Princess and the Frog,” Pirates of the Caribbean and “The Haunted Mansion”
To capture the spirit and vibrancy of “The Big Easy,” you can’t forget the Disney animated hit “The Princess and the Frog” for an instant trip to the French Quarter complete with street musicians and Mickey-shaped beignets. For films inspired by some the Disneyland attractions themselves, check out the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films and “The Haunted Mansion.”
Adventureland: “Tarzan,” “The Jungle Book” and “Monkey Kingdom”
Last but not least, we round out our trip around Disneyland park with a dose of adventure. From climbing trees in the jungle with Tarzan and Jane or Mowgli and Baloo to a real-life look at a young monkey and her son living in ancient ruins, there’s plenty of adventure in store!

There are travel specials about the Disney parks, most recently I recall some on The Travel Channel. Samantha Brown also has had Disney parks and hotels-related shows. Could those and other similar Disney-centric shows be put on Disney+ also? They are a smash hit with our family, undoubtedly many other Disney families, it would be great to have access to these from Disney!
I miss Disneyland so much! I have been watching Disney+ everyday while I am home, but I can’t wait for the Disney Parks to open back up.
I keep an up-to-date spreadsheet of movies/shorts that relate to anything featured in the 4 Disney World parks. It’s QUITE extensive and doesn’t even include the resorts or Disney Springs.
You know what i would love the MOST? The wonderful world of color and Disneyland episodes. I was so sure they wold put these on Disney+. Sunday night was family night in my house as a kid. We lay on the floor infront of the TV. And watched the Wonderful World of Disney…i could use that right now

I just signed up for Disney+ and have been watching non-stop. I did a full 2 -3 days of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings. I love Disney Insiders as well. I love seeing all the parks and locations that I didn’t know existed. I love Disney so much! Haven’t been to a Disney Park in about 7 years. I have been trying to round up the troops to go but with schedules plus complaints about it being too expensive, to no avail. I always say with proper expense planning, it is possible. At this point, I am ready to go alone. Does anyone know anyone that was gone by themselves and not been miserable about to? Thoughts?
While Disneyland is closed, what a GREAT time to reimagine parking. That’s my only complaint when it comes to the park experience.

Please add my “vote” (if you are counting them) to Dustin and Deb’s. I, too, would love to see the Samantha Brown shows from Disney Parks and hotels, as well as shows from “The Wonderful World of Color” and Walt’s early “Disneyland” shows. Like Deb’s family, my siblings and I watched WWC every Sunday night.
