Last night, members of our Security teams at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort “took over” our Twitter accounts (@WaltDisneyWorld and @Disneyland) to give our fans an inside peek at our parks.
In case you missed it, we’re sharing their tweets along with the photos they snapped below. What a fun perspective they have! We hope you enjoy it.
Walt Disney World Resort
Hello Walt Disney World fans! I’m Security Host Elio from #DisneysHollywoodStudios and as my team helps protect the magic with the park temporarily closed, they’ve given me the honor of showing you around today! #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/Y1n0XGz6xG— Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) May 6, 2020
Thought I’d check and see how my counterparts at Muppet*Vision 3D are doing. -Elio #DisneysHollywoodStudios #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/V2yqhnXDg2— Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) May 6, 2020
I’m a huge @StarWars fan, so I love stopping by the AT-AT at Star Tours while making my rounds. -Elio #DisneysHollywoodStudios #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/s4zoYzOSIp— Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) May 6, 2020
I’m a little short for a Stormtrooper. -Elio @StarWars #GalaxysEdge #DisneysHollywoodStudios #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/t0baOe60X9— Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) May 7, 2020

Hey it’s Elio again. Hope you’ve enjoyed this look inside #DisneysHollywoodStudios! Wonder what my fellow Security cast members @Disneyland are up to today … #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/YjwC675aVW— Walt Disney World (@WaltDisneyWorld) May 7, 2020
Hello there! I’m Tina, Security Duty Manager at the Disneyland Resort. We were inspired by Elio’s look inside @WaltDisneyWorld Resort & decided to give our followers a peek inside Disneyland park. #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/xUwAZNQzZw— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
I grew up a mile north of Disneyland & could always hear the whistle of the Mark Twain Riverboat. Favorite childhood memory: one summer night I saw the great Louis Armstrong performing aboard while cruising along the Rivers of America. -Tina #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/JNuUe95SMp— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
My first job was at River Belle Terrace in New Orleans Square. The area remains one of my favorite places to walk and peer through shop windows. In the evenings, you can still smell the beautiful aromas from Mlle. Antoinette’s Parfumerie. -Tina #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/6chmvCgDsQ— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
In Frontierland, you can’t miss this rare geological artifact: the petrified tree. It’s believed to be between 55-70 million years old! Did you know that it was a present from Lillian Disney? -Tina #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/BFVDZOKkiI— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
As a kid, I remember being afraid of Monstro the Whale, looming over Storybook Land Canal Boats. Tonight, however, he looks beautiful surrounded by bright florals. Love that this attraction transports you to the homes of happily ever afters. -Tina #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/Xrirxmnwji— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
Also in Fantasyland, I couldn’t help but look up at the Swiss flags glowing above Matterhorn Bobsleds’ queue. When I worked in Attractions, this was one of my favorites. There’s nothing better than pressing “Chuck’s Bell” & giving a 👍. -Tina #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/gidNeTcwxY— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
Thought I’d end the evening with this illuminated portrait of Sleeping Beauty at her castle. We hope you enjoyed following along with our #DisneyCastLife walks through Disneyland & @WaltDisneyWorld Resorts. “They say if you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true.” pic.twitter.com/okgQUYevdG— Disneyland Resort (@Disneyland) May 7, 2020
This really was fantastic. I’m a Disneyland alum, but my favorite was Elio’s “Waiting for guests to return” photo. I hope the parks will do this again!
I was laughing at Elio’s and crying at Tina’s. Thank you both for sharing your walks and memories of the parks with us!
I really enjoyed the pictures of the Hollywood studios tour. I worked there for many years as a cast member (main entrance greeter) and had probably been to every corner of that Park. it was not a job, it was like going on vacation every day and being paid to be there! I am retired now but I sure do miss working there.
Thank you for letting us tag along-
You left me wanting to see more!!
Thank you! My family misses Disney Parks and hope we can see ya real soon! Stay safe!
Awww!! My family and I were planning on going to Orlando this summer. Hopefully 🤞🏽🙏🏽 We could go during the Christmas holiday.
Hi Tina! I worked at DL Security Special Services (basement Old Admn bldg). I remember you.
Thank you Elio and Tina. Really enjoyed the tours! Security has have a very difficult job balancing keeping the magic alive and handling some very difficult situations that pop up. You are greatly appreciated.
This was so fun to see! Thanks for keeping the parks safe!
