#Halfway2Halloween has arrived and we have a mystery graphic that may stump you! Can you get to the root of this grinning portrait?

If you guessed the Pumpkin Tree aboard the Disney Dream, you are spot-on! This wooded creature is part of a very special collection of enchanted trees that adorn the Disney Cruise Line ships during Halloween on the High Seas.
Every year, from early September through October, the entire Disney fleet transforms into a ghoulish wonderland filled with frightfully fun events and activities, special decorations, unique menu items and themed parties. During these special voyages, each ship boasts a signature Pumpkin Tree in the atrium. On a special evening, a storytelling caretaker enlists families to help ignite a magical transformation of the tree.

My wife Connie and I take two Disney Cruises among some of the other vacation club adventures every year. We are fortunate to be able to do so and we have sailed so many times we know a good number of the excellent crew and where possible we request specific Crew as evening Dining servers or servers in Palo. We met one specific Crew member on the Magic on our second cruise and he had just been promoted to assistant server. We had excellent table mates and we made sure that every evening we gave him, all in good fun, a run for his money. Over the years some of our friends passed but we clued our new friends as to how to have fun with a Dining Room Server. Just by luck we always managed to book a Halloween cruise and we specifically requested his table. When he comes out of the galley and sees us he knows he’s ready for a week to 10 days of fun. This past year he was no longer our table server because he was promoted to a management position. We’ve sailed over 30 cruises on all of the ships. when he saw us and was no longer a server he made sure our new servers took absolutely excellent care of us. He always made sure there was a special treat at the beginning and end of Dinner. Roberto is just great! We’ve even seen pictures of his beautiful family as they were added and grew. He is a lucky man and and fortunate to be a long term member of the Disney Family. God Bless You Roberto, from Dr Bob and Connie!
