With magic returning to parks and resorts, one of the creative visionaries inspiring imagination at Walt Disney Imagineering, Zach Riddley, is busy leading the teams that invent the future for guests at Walt Disney World Resort – and now, he’s sharing some of his experiences with the world on Instagram at @TheZachRiddley.
Many of you know Zach from stories here on the Blog! As Imagineering’s site portfolio executive for Walt Disney World Resort, Zach turns dreams into reality and currently leads work on the historic transformation of EPCOT to bring the next generation of immersive storytelling to life at the Resort.
While Zach’s creative focus is now on Walt Disney World Resort, he has also helped bring other favorite experiences to life in each of our resorts across the globe. Zach also led the master planning team at Imagineering – which helps set the long-term vision for how we use our land, protect and steward our environmental resources and preserve space for all the future ideas we’ve yet to dream up.
Since joining Imagineering, Zach has been passionate about design at Disney Parks and the notion that it’s a way to realize a vision of the world and bring that to life in physical form. He says design creates a sense of connection that has meaning for millions of guests across the globe – which is something unique that Imagineers create in every project.
