We’ve seen so many great examples of guests creating fun experiences at home inspired by Disney parks. It’s been incredibly fun and rewarding to see so many fantastic reactions to favorite theme parks, attractions, characters—you name it!

The Disney Parks Blog asked two of the architects and designers from the Walt Disney Imagineering Design + Planning Studio to contribute their talents to help more guests bring a piece of the Disney parks to life in your own homes.

Bob Weis, president of Walt Disney Imagineering, recently shared, “We have always been inspired by the incredible passion of our Disney park fans. Seeing your creativity and shared love for the experiences Imagineers create has really lifted our spirits.”

We are excited to share, Disney Paper Parks – printable activity sheets complete with instructions to create 3D versions of Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland park, floats from the new “Magic Happens” parade and other Disney parks favorites!

The sheets, created for the Disney Parks Blog by talented Imagineers Stephanie Jazmines and Amy Young, require the use of scissors or glue and folding along dotted lines in specific directions. For best results, we recommend printing the sheets at their actual size, not scaling them to fit the page.

We also recommend adult participation or supervision for those with little ones to help make this great activity even more enjoyable. Have fun and stay tuned for more Disney Paper Parks activity sheets!

  • Moana has a big boat float. Are there any characters that are supposed to go in it besides the chicken?

  • What an awesome project that I can share with my daughter! We were just trying to think of something fun to do at home! Thanks so much! Can’t wait to see what Part 2 brings!

  • What a fun project. Husband and I have discovered during this time, the meditative effect of crafts. But he pointed out something about these fabulous drawings that gave us pause…how weird it looked that the front doors are closed on all the buildings. As we’ve been enjoying Disneyland since the late 1950s.. (He IS old, come to think of it 😁 ) We’d never seen the doors closed. So..easy fix I told him…and we’ll color in people! But I found his statement charmingly bittersweet. Thought I would share..(We’re using these as background for our Disney shelves in our library BTW) thanks for the fun!!

  • Hi Christine, the dots that are circled is just the way we architects represent trees in a floor plan. That means there’s a tree present or that we’re proposing planting a tree there.

  • We love this, thank you!

  • This is great! I do have a question though, on Main Street there are dots that are circled, what are those for?

  • “Is there a particular paper that would be best suited to the project? Something heavier than just regular printer/copier paper?”

    – When I’ve built paper models in the past I’ve used cardstock that’s anywhere between 85 lbs. and 110 lbs. Anything heavier than that and it’s harder to score, fold, etc.

  • Is there a particular paper that would be best suited to the project? Something heavier than just regular printer/copier paper?

  • This is really cool! Does anyone know if the Imagineers are going to make one of Walt Disney World’s Main Street?

  • This is awesome! Can they please make Sunset Blvd leading to the Tower of Terror!! 🙂

  • Thank you! Those Main Street papercuts will go along perfectly with my miniature cardboard versions of the Move it! Shake it! Celebrate it! Street Party and the Main Street Electrical Parade!

  • Fantastic. The adult I am, may just want to do this. Gotta buy crayons now. Thanks Disney. Hope to see you in October.
