Is there anything better than taking that first heavenly bite of a warm cookie as the smell of freshly baked cookies still lingers in the air? I think not.

No wonder there is a day dedicated to celebrating these delicious morsels of goodness. And that day is December 4!

We asked our Disney chefs from around the world to send us their favorite cookie recipe so you can bake some Disney magic at home for National Cookie Day. But feel free to celebrate National Cookie Day every day – I do!

Comments

  • FYI- Made the Crackle cookies and dough just did not seem right? So I added 1 more egg (2 total) and they came out great!

  • Previous comments about molasses cookie recipe being wrong can be ignored, recipe was updated and is now great!

  • I made the molasses crackle cookies and followed the recipe to a T. They turned out perfect and look just like the picture that accompanies the recipe. My daughter made the cookies a different day at her house and they turned out perfectly also.

  • I made the Molasses Crinkle cookies this week, and they came out perfect! I only had a small cookie scoop, which made a dozen per medium cookie sheet(2 of which fit in the oven at a time). They did only spread a little, so were nice and thick. They baked in exactly 9 min, as indicated.
They were nice and chewy inside the first day, after that they crisped up throughout. I got 55, 2 1/2 “ cookies from the batch. I will definitely make them again, as they made up very quickly. I might reduce the ginger a bit next time. They aren’t as spicy as a store bought ginger snap, but my sister found the ginger flavor a bit strong, so others might also, though my hubby and I liked them as is.

  • Molasses cookie recipe is not right. Followed to a T and failed like the others who commented.

  • I think the molasses crackle cookie recipe isn’t quite right…too much flour, perhaps?

  • I tried the Molasses Crackle Cookies… they didn’t spread out. I double checked the recipe just in case… no I did everything as directed. Giant fail

  • It is a well-known fact that calories do NOT count at Disney Parks and Resorts. Will that magic translate to home when we bake these cookies?
