Disney-themed Christmas tree
Disney-themed Christmas tree

O Disney Tree, O Disney Tree! We know that many of you create Disney-themed Christmas trees for the holiday season. We’ve made one too! Can you guess how many Mickey-themed ornaments hang from these lovely branches?

Elsa is known for making ice castles, but today we are making snowglobes featuring some of your favorite Frozen 2 characters. Here’s what you will need:

Directions: First, make sure an adult is around to help. Second, hot glue the character figure to the underside of the jar lid. (Add miniature trees or foliage if desired.) Third, sprinkle half a handful of snow into the jar. Finally, screw on the lid and flip over.

Werther’s Hot Salted Caramel Drink

We’ve been dashing all the way so far, but it’s time to slow down and sip a warm and sweet treat…Werther’s Hot Salted Caramel Drink. This recipe is inspired by Karamell-Küche at the Germany Pavillion in EPCOT and it will sure make you merry and bright.
Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup milk
  • 5 pieces Werther’s Original Baking Caramels, unwrapped
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/16 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Directions: Always use caution when handling sharp objects and hot contents.

Please supervise children who are helping or nearby. Heat milk and caramels in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5-10 minutes or until caramels are melted. Stir in vanilla and salt. Top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.

DIsney+ festive films to watch on your Homebound Day.

Finally, it is time to cozy up and enjoy what will feel like 12 days of Christmas movies. Check-off the films you’ve seen and turn on Disney+ to catch the flicks you haven’t.

We hope all this fun has put you into a festive mood. May your holidays be joyous and filled with Disney Magic Moments.
