Can you believe this year marks the 30th anniversary of Disney Vacation Club? Today, we are officially kicking off our year-long celebration by revealing an exciting lineup of made-for-Member activities and benefits, as well a special performance for all Disney Parks Blog readers. Here’s a look at some of the offerings in store!

Join host Ryan March (Disney Files Magazine) for “We Go On,” a streaming musical event produced especially for Disney Vacation Club Members. This celebration of Membership Magic at home features uplifting entertainment, with inspirational performances by stage and screen star Keala Settle (known for her breakout role in “The Greatest Showman”) and the EPCOT fan-favorite a cappella group, the Voices of LibertyYou might just spot some other familiar faces with special talents to share! Members should check their email for a video link to view the full-length musical production.

But, of course, we want to give all of our Disney Parks Blog readers a glimpse at this one-of-a-kind show. In this powerful moment, Keala Settle joins Ryan to share the special meaning behind the song “it’s a small world” before performing an emotional rendition of this Disney classic.

Celebrate in style with customizable Disney Vacation Club 30th Anniversary merchandise, available now at

We’re pleased to share that the popular Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge, overlooking EPCOT in the park’s Imagination! pavilion, will remain open through 2021. Available for Members with paid admission to EPCOT, the lounge is currently available from noon to 7 p.m. daily. Starting Jan. 31, the hours will adjust to 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge offers a convenient and comfortable place to recharge while visiting the theme park, with casual seating, complimentary beverages, device-charging stations and Wi-Fi.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary, Members are invited to take part in a brand-new scavenger hunt across Walt Disney World Resort. In this interactive and informative selfie-collecting quest, Disney Vacation Club Members will discover thematic insights and Disney details that are woven into the storytelling of each of the parks. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the trivia that participants will learn … did you know all of these?

Theme Park admission is not part of the ownership interest and is sold separately.

Participants will conclude their scavenger hunt experience with some new Disney trivia up their sleeve and a commemorative Disney Vacation Club 30th Anniversary button to reward their eagle eye and selfie-taking skills! There are four buttons available, one for each of the parks.

Scenic Selfies begins on Feb. 16. To get started, bring your smart device and visit the designated Disney Vacation Club kiosk in each park: Magic Kingdom Park (Tomorrowland), EPCOT (alongside the Canada pavilion), Disney’s Hollywood Studios (before the entrance to Toy Story Land) and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park (Asia).

  • White/Hansen family bought SSR in 2017, never having stayed at any DVC! Added on a couple of small SSR’s, and a small BCV. They bring us so much joy.

  • The Kramarz family joined the family in 2015. Our home resort is the Polynesian which is the best resort on park in my opinion which may be biased a little. Ha. Our only regret is not buying in sooner. Happy to be part of Disney’s biggest secret.

  • The Ferrari family purchased at Old Key West in 1993, sight unseen, after our fellow WDW fan neighbors clued us in from their trip over spring break that year. This May our family trip will include our first grandchild, who will be 1 year old.

  • We joined DVC at Old Key West before it even opened in 1992. I believe that we were one of the first 200 families to join. There was only one building up to be used as a model. It is the best thing that we have ever done! There was always something new at WDW to enjoy as our children grew older. Now we celebrate with them, grandchildren, and friends. We have also been to many parts of the world with our DVC membership. What a great thirty years it has been!

  • Disney’s Old Key West Resort – 1994

  • Purchased mine during our first Disney Cruise in 2011.
Used my points with my big family, so thankful to share this with them. Looking forward to more family time, can’t wait to go back to Disneyworld 2022.

  • Saratoga Springs 2006. We have loved everything that DVC offers these past 14 years. Look forward to more years to come.

  • Member since 2005. celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the opening of Walt Disney World 50 years ago with an October stay. Cant wait…

  • Wyatt’s 25th Anniversary of being DVC members; DVC’s 30th Anniversary; and Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary….2021 was worth the wait!

  • Members since 1994 – best decision ever! Our 5 kids, and us, have great memories of many trips, while our eldest & wife now have their own membership! Enjoying extended family vacations with grandkids, which was always the goal. Still terribly miss Osprey Ridge & Eagle Pines, but overall a great decision. Looking forward to celebrating 50 yrs of WDW, and 30 yrs of DVC, at Christmas 2021.

  • The Wilkey Family since 2017 at Copper Creek! Up, up and Awaaaaay!

  • Hrad Family since 1992. We purchased before Old Key West was complete!

  • Member for over 20 years – So looking forward to our next trip – we now have 3 scheduled trips and hope we do not have to cancel any of them again – We miss Disney! Pizzolato/Trinidad family

  • We were one of the families which help celebrate the 20 year anniversary and we will be there for the thirty year anniversary as well!! Bringing the grandkids now too

  • The Kincel Family since 1993. Old Key West.

  • Faenza 2014 poly

  • The Bradley’s since 2019

  • OKW 2011. Best decision EVER!

  • We need more communication from DVC management.
