Beginning today, guests at Walt Disney World Resort will be able to enjoy a convenient and contactless new option for entering the theme parks and more, as part of the rollout of Disney MagicMobile service!
Available now on iPhone and Apple Watch and coming soon to other smart devices, Disney MagicMobile service is a fun, easy-to-use new way for guests to experience The Most Magical Place on Earth. The service is offered in addition to other options such as the MagicBand, the colorful, all-in-one bracelet, which will continue to be available and introduced in even more colors, designs and limited-edition fan favorites into the future.
Here are a few helpful tips to get started with Disney MagicMobile service:
- Create A Customized Digital Pass: Guests can create a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app and add it to the Wallet app on iPhone or the digital wallet on other smart devices. You can customize your pass by choosing from several Disney-themed designs that animate upon use (including special designs just for Annual Passholders and DVC Members)! For added ease, you may also store multiple passes on a single device, a great option for families.
- Easily Enter the Parks and More: Simply hold your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other smart device near an access point when entering the parks or using other available features, just like you do with a MagicBand. With Express Mode on iPhone and Apple Watch, guests do not even need to wake or unlock their Apple device, or open up the app, to use their Disney MagicMobile pass. As a reminder, valid park admission and a park reservation are required for park entry and must be linked to your account.
- Discover Other App Enhancements: We’ve also added a new feature in the My Disney Experience app that allows you to automatically link your Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to your profile through your smartphone. Just confirm your settings in advance of riding at participating attractions. The My Disney Experience app also enables Disney Resort hotel guests to unlock their room door using our current digital room key feature.
You may use Disney MagicMobile service, a MagicBand or a card interchangeably for added flexibility. Disney Resort hotel guests can purchase MagicBands at a special, pre-arrival price. Guests can also pick up a Key to the World card at their convenience at the front desk.
Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app today to check out these latest updates!
*Please note Disney MagicMobile service requires iOS 14.4 or later and watchOS 7.3 or later.

Very exciting to see this progression of technology and guest experiences. Well done to the next-gen teams and app developers!
Does this only work when on property? I’ve updated MDE and see the “Disney MagicMobile Pass” button, but it won’t let me click on it to create one?
Please make sure you have linked any plans to your My Disney Experience account. You can also call the Disney Reservation Center for further assistance.
Was able to add card to iPhone wallet but it won’t add to Apple Watch
Will AP and DVC discounts automatically be applied when using it to make purchases?
No, each guest must present a valid Annual Pass card or Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and government-issued photo ID at time of purchase to receive discounts.
Does it work for Android as well? Not everyone uses Apple devices.
Disney MagicMobile will soon be available on additional devices. Stay tuned to DisneyWorld.com for more details!
that is exciting
How does this work with children?
You are welcome to create and store multiple Disney MagicMobile passes on a single device if you’d like to manage passes for other members of your party. When you arrive at the park, simply open your phone’s digital wallet and swipe each pass to redeem them.
I tried setting it up on my iPhone and when I add it to my wallet I keep getting an error saying something went wrong. Looks like it still has bugs. Hopefully when I go to the park in a couple days it will be working.
I have a reservation and tickets for the end of April. I tried to setup the Magic Mobile Pass and I don’t get a link to set this up on the app. Do I need to wait until closer to my trip before setting this up?

I added my magic pass to my mobile ready for my trip in august can I just leave it there
You’re all set!
Does this mean annual passholders not staying at resorts will finally be able to store payment information and pay with our phones? Please say that feature is in the works!
Hello! I was able to add my pass to my iPhone wallet but I keep receiving an error when I try to Add it to my watch?
I cannot add the Disney Magic Mobile pass to my watch like the others. I have tried deleting, log in/out. I can’t add the pass to my watch. It keeps giving me an error.
I’m seeing other comments about this: I was able to add my card to the iPhone wallet but unable to add my watch. After reading the fine print it says “*Please note Disney MagicMobile service requires iOS 14.4 or later and watchOS 7.3 or later.” My phone is iOS 14.4.2 but my watch is watchOS 6.3 so until my watch has a software update I can’t add it.
I tried sharing tickets from my phone with my wife but she gets an error adding them to her wallet every time. She was able to share hers with me and that works fine.
I was having the same problem of it not adding to my Apple Watch so I went looking. It will work with Apple Watches that have watchOS 7.3, but if you have a Series 1 or 2 Apple Watch it won’t work because watchOS 7 is not compatible with Series 1 and 2 watches.
Happy happy
Happy eat place on earth
So if I have will call tickets purchased but set up a magic mobile pass then I don’t actually need to go to will call correct?
Please try to expand this to Fitbit!
Can I use the MagicMobile for parking since I’m an Annual passholder?
Has this been established for Android or Fitbit products yet? Other smartwatches, like Garmin?
Trying to add to Apple Watch with no luck. Does Disney ID email need to be the same as Apple ID?
I have a reservation and tickets for the end of July. I tried to setup the Magic Mobile Pass and I don’t get a link to set this up on the app. Do I need to wait until closer to my trip before setting this up?
Why is Magic Band selection extremely limited, with only 12 options, on ShopDisney.com/parks accessories? There use to be a large variety from basic colors to many characters. I would to purchase pre-arrival and link the bands to my reservation.
