First Guests Experience Theme Park Magic at Disneyland Resort

The magic is here! After a long absence, the Disneyland Resort once again has opened its gates. 

The morning started off with Bob Chapek, Walt Disney Company CEO, addressing cast members at a ceremony celebrating the historic reopening of the Disneyland Resort

The morning started off with Bob Chapek, Walt Disney Company CEO, addressing cast members at a ceremony celebrating the historic reopening.

Once reopen, guests were thrilled to explore the beloved landscapes of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks — from the steps of the Disneyland Train Station and the Pixar Pier boardwalk, to the peaks of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the steel thrills of the Incredicoaster. 

We were there to catch the emotion as the first guests rediscovered the fun!

  • Everyone looks so happy. So glad the resort is open again.
    PLEASE open to out of state guests!
    And, please don’t require vaccination proof! It’s not required for Californians and they visit other states all the time. I live in Nevada and lately I have seen such and increase in CA plates here.
    Maybe open to just Nevada, Arizona and Oregon? It’s a start! 😁🏰🎢🎡 we all want to come home too!
