Our cast have returned to the magic at both Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park—a big congratulations and bon retour to all! From a new reimagined attraction to the opening of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, our cast members are overjoyed with the all the excitement happening around the parks.

Disneyland Paris Park and Walt Disney Studios Park both reopened on June 17, marking the first day in over a year that all Walt Disney Parks & Resorts opened their gates once again. This milestone was celebrated by both cast and guests from all around the world but could not have been done without those who worked innovatively in the moments leading up to each reopening. Welcome home, Disneyland Paris!

The magic and celebrations haven’t stopped there. Not even one week later, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel opened its doors for guests to experience the magic and comic world of Marvel. This heroic four-star hotel offers premium comfort and personalized services while paying tribute the culture and vibrant energy of New York City. With more than 350 pieces of artwork on display from 110 international artists, spanning both comics and movies, it is one of the largest collections of MARVEL artwork in the world. Take a look at how it promises to be a heroic hotel stay par excellence!

Capturing all the excitement throughout the Parks, our cast members had a few words to share about all the new openings and reopenings as well as how they felt returning to work:

  • What does being a Disney Cast Member mean to you?

I’m always very proud to say I’m a cast member. It’s an honor for me, there are so many values that Walt wanted to put into this job. That’s what makes me excited every day. job.

  • What’s your favorite part of the new hotel?

The lobby with Iron Man armors, including the exclusive armor of Disneyland Paris.

  • What’s your favorite Disney memory?

As a cast member, my favorite memory is one close to my heart: giving a randomly chosen family with children the opportunity to take a picture with characters at the end of a show at Disneyland Paris. It was an opportunity for me to be able to give magic, as I received when I was a little girl as a guest myself.

  • How do you feel about the reopening of the Parks?

It’s such a good feeling, not just because I’m able to go back to work, but because I get to bring the magic back to life and see our guests. Being away from the magic for so long really did have an impact on me. Seeing the faces of our guests, even as they wear masks, I get to witness their joy of being back and that’s the one thing that’s made me the happiest.

  • What is one thing you find unique about the new hotel?

The immersion. You feel as if you are walking into New York, and when you check-in you have someone to give you a tour of all the art exhibitions. It’s just everything—the story telling is different on each floor and it’s remarkable.

  • What’s it like being back in the Parks?

Amazing. There are no words strong enough to express my feeling. We never thought that our destination could stay closed for so long and when you see your family again after such a long time it’s indescribable. Disneyland Paris is my passion. It’s like being back home, it’s my place.
