Ever wonder what it’s like to vacation in Hawai‘i with a Disney Character? Well at Aulani Resort, the characters are on vacation too! Be sure to have your smile ready for a vacation selfie with some Disney friends.
In celebration of Aulani Resort’s anniversary, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse debuted their new aloha attire by Hawai‘i designer Sig Zane, which they wore on Aulani Resort’s anniversary a few days ago. Sig Zane designed a new aloha shirt for Mickey Mouse and a beautiful, breezy new dress and matching bow for Minnie Mouse to wear during greetings and photos with guests.
In addition to Mickey Mouse and his pals, the adventurous Moana, Angel and Stitch, the music-loving ‘Olu Mel, and Duffy and are just some of the Disney friends you can spot as they enjoy some Hawaiian-style fun.
2. Explore the Cuisine and Culture of Hawai`i at Aulani Resort’s Lū‘au
Set under the stars on the beautiful Hālāwai Lawn, KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au at Aulani Resort immerses guests in the live music, traditional dance and ancient stories of Hawai‘i through Disney’s signature entertainment. From DOLE Whip treats to the international flavors of Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands, Aulani Resort offers several dining and culinary experiences. Make sure you enjoy a Shave Ice at Pāpālua Shave Ice – the only place you can get a Mickey Shave Ice. It’s refreshing and magical.
4. Experience the Wonder and Magic of Water at Aulani Resort
There are many ways to enjoy water activities at Aulani Resort. From snorkeling adventures in Rainbow Reef, our private 3,800-square-foot saltwater lagoon, to the rejuvenating waters in the Kula Wai, the outdoor hydrotherapy oasis which can be reserved with any spa treatment. There’s also the Keiki Cove Splash Zone for fun and refreshing play. Go on a journey floating on the gentle Waikolohe Stream through the Waikolohe Valley. Make a splash on two exhilarating waterslides: Volcanic Vertical and Tubestone Curl. Kids can also enjoy water adventures at the Menehune Bridge.

Stop by Kālepa’s Store and Hale Manu to do a little vacation shopping. At Hale Manu, guests enjoy selections of jewelry and high-end fashion in a cozy boutique setting. Kālepa’s is a convenient shop for souvenirs, groceries, sundries and other vacation essentials.
