Disney’s “Ultimate Princess Celebration” continues with an inspiring collaboration between ELLE and Disney featuring 14 real-life heroes and heroines who embody the same characteristics as the beloved Disney Princess characters. From Cinderella’s kindness and Belle’s ingenuity to Mulan’s courage and Moana’s adventurous spirit, these modern heroines exemplify the heart of the Disney Princess characters and inspire people around the world to do the same.
ELLE will feature the first four ‘Modern Heroines’ including Eva Longoria, Misty Copeland, Amanda Nguyen, and Padma Lakshmi in the September 2021 issue, which dropped during Disney’s inaugural World Princess Week, aimed at celebrating courage and kindness around the globe.
Each ‘Modern Heroine’ profile will feature bespoke imagery and editorial that highlights their inspiring stories including their proudest achievements, their current projects, and how they incorporate lessons from the Disney Princess heros into their daily lives. Additional profiles will launch monthly through April 2022.
